L'Aup Bernard

L’Aup Bernard is a stone mountain refuge in the Belledonne/7 Laux area used for overnight stays on self-supported, backcountry-style trips. It’s unstaffed, so you sleep on your own terms and manage the hut like a non-guarded refuge.

The Bergerie provides about 10 sleeping places, including 6 on mattresses. Use a sleeping bag (and a liner) and bring your own food and cooking setup; the hut has a wood-burning stove and basic pantry items so you can prepare hot meals once you arrive.
