Le Criouly

Le Criouly is an alpine backcountry hut near Samoëns in the French Alps, also known as the Refuge du Lac de Gers. It’s a year-round mountain stop used by trekkers and walkers on multi-day approaches, and it sits above the Combe de Gers by Lac de Gers.

Overnight stays are booked by contacting the hut’s wardens directly. Advance reservations are strongly recommended, and the hut can also work as a daytime stop for food and a drink when you’re passing through.
