Les Ailes du Nant

Les Ailes du Nant is a family-run backcountry mountain hut in the Bauges above Lake Annecy, used as an overnight gîte d’étape. The dormitory has 19 individual beds (mattresses provided) at about 1,350 m elevation.

Use is typically seasonal, with daily opening from May to October and winter opening (November to April) only by reservation for groups of 8 or more. A guardian (Fabien) manages stays, and booking is done by contacting the guardian directly rather than via an automated online portal; half-board, including breakfast and packed lunches for hikers, is available when arranged in advance.
