Maison forestière de la Servette

Maison forestière de la Servette is a small, unmanned day shelter at 1,193 m used as a resting stop for walkers on the Voirons massif. Use is free and no reservations are accepted.

For daytime stops it provides a main room, a designated exterior barbecue area, picnic tables, and a drinking water source (natural spring water). Use of fire/grilling is limited to the marked spot to the south of the building; an indoor fireplace is reserved for people authorized by the commune and the Office National des Forêts. Camping on the grounds is forbidden; bivouacking is only tolerated in absolute necessity for safety in mountain terrain. The chalet may not be used for sleeping, parties, or group reception unless special permission is granted. Evacuate all litter and leave the building locked after use; access to the upper floor is not allowed.
