Méga-Pod Saint-Magloire

Méga-Pod Saint-Magloire is a Bassin sector backcountry pod in Parc du Massif du Sud, set up for self-catering and all-year use. It’s designed for 4 people, with a maximum of 6 (4 adults and 2 children), and the unit permits dogs.

Inside, you get cooking and basic serving gear plus bedding and heating: mattresses, dishes, drinking water delivery, an electric stove top, and an electric + wood pellet stove for warmth. A heated composting toilet is located in the center of the POD area. Park access fees are not included in the POD booking price, and you book through Reservotron; same-day reservations aren’t made on the platform and you’re directed to call for same-day availability checks.

The POD’s dog policy is specific: dogs are allowed in Méga-POD Saint-Magloire. Parking is handled differently by season: in summer, you can park on-site at the PODs; in winter, vehicles stay in the visitor center parking lot and you walk about 900 m to reach the accommodation.

For Méga-POD Saint-Magloire, the regular rate is $159 per night and the reduced rate is $139 per night. A two-night minimum is required, and extra-person fees apply if you exceed the included occupancy. For your stay, the park recommends bringing sleeping bags and pillows, plus food and dish linens; showers at the Desjardins pavilion are paid ($1 for four minutes of hot water).
