Mole Hut

Mole Hut is a standard 4-bunk backcountry hut in Nelson Lakes National Park, run by the Department of Conservation. It’s first come, first served, so you’ll need to sort your hut ticket for your nights in the honesty box before or on arrival.

Fees and use rules: standard hut tickets are required for each night (adult, youth, and child/infant categories listed on the hut page). The hut has a pit latrine, and it has mattresses provided but no drinking water is available at the hut.
