Refuge Adèle Planchard is a staffed alpine refuge at 3,169 m in the Écrins, managed by the Société des Touristes du Dauphiné. It’s used for backcountry stays in the Grande Ruine area and serves as a high-altitude base for skimo, mountaineering, and randonnée objectives nearby.

Sleeping is organized in a winter facility (dormitory for 16) when the refuge isn’t staffed; the main guarded capacity is listed at 53 people. The refuge is not heated, but it provides mattresses and during the winter period it’s stocked with blankets, pillows, and tableware; there is no gas supply.

The refuge is kept on specific guarded dates: guarded from 5–6 June, then continuously from 11 June to 6 September. For spring, a ski-touring opening is listed for 13 March–4 May. Reservations are handled via phone or email during the booking period.
