Refuge Amis de la Nature du Lac Noir
Refuge Amis de la Nature du Lac Noir is a chalet refuge near Lac Noir in the Vosges (295 Lac Noir, 68370 Orbey). It’s run by the Amis de la Nature Val d’Orbey association and is used for both overnight stays and reservations-managed access during the busiest periods.
The refuge has 50 places across 8 to 10 rooms (with 3 to 6 beds and bunk beds) plus a room for disabled access. Sleeping bags or sheets and indoor slippers are required. Pets are not allowed inside. The building includes a large communal kitchen and living rooms, with drinks available on site; a barbecue is available in summer. On-site sanitation includes 6 showers and 5 toilets.
Use is typically open every weekend and during school vacations, with weekday stays arranged on request for groups. Reservations are required. Prices are listed per night in the range of €18–€19, with discounts for children in summer and winter (the pricing is based on whether children are older than 11). The refuge is at about 980 m elevation and provides bike parking including a closed bicycle garage and a bike wash area.
