Refuge Curson

Refuge Curson (also known as Refuge de Curson-M. Wenger) is an altitude refuge in the Haute Chaîne du Jura nature reserve. It’s a foot-access stopway for hikers, positioned near Crêt de la Neige and Le Reculet in the Jura.

Use is limited and the refuge is only reachable on foot; private vehicles can’t reach the site. Operating days are Thursdays through Sundays during the main opening window, from June 1 to September 30, and the overnight stay format is petit-déjeuner plus demi-pension. Meals are supported by a fireplace/wood stove setup (chimney/poêle).
