Refuge de Bonverdan

Refuge de Bonverdan is an ONCFS backcountry hut in the Bauges area. The refuge has a wood stove for heating and cooking, and it’s equipped for overnight stays with a simple interior setup (sleeping bunks/mattresses and basic seating).

Plan on being self-reliant: there’s no nearby drinking water at the refuge, and the refuge does not have latrines. It sits inside the hunting and wildlife reserve in the Bauges, where motor vehicles are prohibited, and bivouac and camping are not allowed; vehicle access is therefore typically limited to approach by foot from nearby trailheads/valleys.
