Refuge de Bostan
Refuge de Bostan is a backcountry mountain hut above Samoëns (Haute-Savoie), run by Bastien Froissard and set at 1,763 m. It’s set up for overnight stays with 70 beds in 7 dormitories and facilities including hot showers and toilets; use includes half-board catering.
Plan on booking ahead and paying in cash. The refuge is connected to the Tour des Dents Blanches network (and is also described as a variant of GR5), making it a useful stop for multi-day hiking. During the main summer season it’s open from 02/06 to 26/09 (daily in 2026), with half-board rates listed for adults (€49) and children (€37 for 12–) and (€27 for under 6).
