Refuge de la Bombardellaz
Refuge de la Bombardellaz is a mountain refuge in the Aravis range in Haute-Savoie, at about 1,620 m elevation. It sits on the route of the sentier de grande randonnée de pays Massif de Tournette-Aravis, on a slope above the valley of the Bouchet, near the chalets of Bombardellaz and below the Tardevant.
Access is easiest on foot or by vehicle from La Clusaz to the southwest, with the main vehicle route described as a road to the Bombardellaz chalets just beyond the refuge; from the Col des Confins it takes about an hour on foot to reach the refuge. From the valley of the Bouchet, there is also a steeper foot approach from the hamlet of les Mollards, with roughly 550 m of climbing.
The refuge is managed by Océane Vittoz, and it offers 27 summer sleeping places. It provides a food service during mid-June to mid-September every day, and on weekends from mid-September to mid-October.
