Refuge de la Muzelle

Refuge de la Muzelle is a manned mountain hut at about 2,112 m elevation in the Massif des Écrins area, with a sleeping capacity for up to 70 people. The hut has mattresses available, and it provides drinking water, toilets, showers, and a staffed refuge setup during the main period of use.

Use runs Jun–Sep, and it’s also accessible in winter. The hut is equipped for backcountry overnight stays (bunks and food service during the staffed season), making it a practical base for multi-day routes in the surrounding high terrain.
