Refuge de Lessy
Refuge de Lessy is an altitude refuge above Lac de Lessy in the Bargy range (Haute-Savoie). It’s run as a mountain base for hikers on the GR96 route, with the refuge positioned in the Lessy hamlet near landmarks including Aiguille Verte, Buclon, and Pic du Jallouvre.
Dorm-style sleeping is set up with both a dorm room area and a refreshment area with food service. The refuge has an elevation around 1,760–1,781 m and offers summer operations only: mid-June through late September, with all days in July–August. Winter access is closed for self-managed use.
For 2026, opening is planned for Saturday 20/6, with weekend-only in June and daily opening from 1 July, and reservations required for the daily period starting July 1. The refuge’s official season and access details are maintained on its operator site.
