Refuge de l'Oule
Refuge de l'Oule is a backcountry Alpine refuge in the Néouvielle area near Saint-Lary-Soulan, set up for overnight stays in winter and summer. The refuge sleeps up to 28 people and offers a mix of dormitory-style and room accommodations, with beds arranged as dormitories of bunked mattresses plus double rooms with bunked beds.
Accommodation is available in summer and winter (reaching the hut is different by season): in summer it’s a 45-minute walk from the Artigusse parking area via a well-marked ascent; in winter it’s reached by ski or by using the lift system from Saint-Lary. In the common areas, showers are shared, and the refuge can supply bedding/linens on request (including “option bien-être” packages). Half-board is an available meal plan, and the hut operates during the summer period from 12 June 2026 to 15 September 2026.
