Refuge de Rochassac

Refuge de Rochassac (also known as Refuge Jean-Marie Faure) is a volunteer-maintained backcountry hut in the Trièves area. It operates as an unguided, non-gardé refuge with use on a first-come, first-served basis.

The hut does not run a formal online booking or payment system. It is generally described as always open year-round, with room for up to 8 people when not managed by a caretaker. The refuge is maintained by the Association Rochassac, and because there’s no collection box inside, visitors are directed to support upkeep via the association.
