Refuge de Sornin

Refuge de Sornin is a backcountry alpine hut in the Vercors massif, accessible for free use as an open pastoral shelter without a resident caretaker. The lower level is public, with a picnic table inside.

Plan on being fully self-sufficient for overnighting: there is no reservation system for the shelter and you should bring camping gear if you intend to bivouac, since it functions as an unstaffed refuge rather than a staffed overnight option.
