The building dates to 1892, and the refuge provides overnight beds in small “cocoons” plus sleeping in rooms and dormitories, with roughly sixty lits in total. It also operates as a high-altitude restaurant, serving traditional regional meals in both summer and winter.
For sleeping, the refuge offers beds in rooms and dormitories, and it serves prepared linens for stays throughout the year. The refuge is currently open seasonally, with the summer-season 2026 dates listed as Thursday 14/05/26 to Sunday 18/10/26, and opening hours that vary by day during mid-June through October. Reservations are handled through the online booking interface or by contacting the refuge directly; for reservations made within 24 hours, phone is recommended.
