Refuge des Feuilles

Refuge des Feuilles is an unstaffed forest cabin in the Méaudre area, managed by the municipality (Mairie de Méaudre). It’s intended as a first-come, first-served backcountry stop for overnight stays by hikers and skiers, with sleeping space on mattresses rather than berths.

The cabin has a wood stove and a fireplace/large chimney, plus tables and chairs. Drinking water is available nearby (within about 100 m), while there are no toilets and no shower facilities. Capacity is commonly around 8 people on a shared sleeping platform, and a communal, self-service approach means you should expect to leave the place clean; bring your own firewood needs and trash bag, and plan for self-reliance.
