Refuge des Sarradets

Refuge des Sarradets (also known as Refuge de la Brèche de Roland / Les Sarradets) is a guarded mountain hut in the Cirque de Gavarnie area of the Pyrenees, at about 2,587 m. It’s run by the Club Alpin Français and sleeps 57 people; it also has toilet facilities.

The refuge is active during the guard period from 6 June to 10 October 2026. It’s used as a base for activities around the Brèche de Roland and the Gavarnie cirque, including trekking routes in the area, along with options such as ice cascade, speleology, mountaineering and climbing, ski touring, and related excursions from nearby passes such as the col des Sarradets and Taillon.
