Refuge d'Espingo

Refuge d'Espingo is a Club Alpin Français backcountry refuge at 1967 m in the Larboust valley, set between the lakes of Espingo and Saoussat. It’s managed with a main summer season, with a winter room providing additional capacity when the refuge is closed to full use.

The refuge has 60 sleeping places in the staffed season, with 6 dormitories. There are 15 sleeping places for the winter room. Showers are limited to people on longer itineraries (GR10, HRP) or staying at the refuge at least 2 days, and toilets are available. When the refuge is not staffed, you can pay your overnight stays online after your visit.
