Refuge du Balaïtous-Ledormeur

Refuge du Balaïtous - Ledormeur is a Club Alpin Français backcountry refuge at 1884 m, unguarded outside of the guardian period. The refuge has 12 sleeping spots and is positioned for hikers and skiers using the normal route access toward the Balaïtous, at the foot of the Glacier de las Néous in the heart of the Parc National des Pyrénées.

Plan on paying for your night after you arrive (payment is handled afterward). In addition to the approach route to the Balaïtous, it also serves as access to different ski touring itineraries in a very wild sector.
