Refuge du Fioux
Refuge du Fioux is a Tour du Mont Blanc backcountry refuge in the Saint-Gervais-les-Bains area, operating at an altitude of 1,505 m with room for 24 people. The listed guardian contact for stays is Catherine Botholier, with bookings managed through the Tour du Mont Blanc accommodation system.
Use is seasonal: the hut opens in June and closes in September. For sleeping, you must bring a sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner for hygiene reasons; disposable liners are sold at the refuge. There is no kitchenette, and bivouacking is no longer permitted at Refuge du Fioux.
Facilities and services include electricity (220v), hot water for a flask, free drinking water, and breakfast; dinner is served at 7:00 PM. Laundry service is available (laundry machine washing). Access/arrival timing is set between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM, with the hut to be vacated by 8:15 AM on departure day.
