Refuge du Lac Blanc
Refuge du Lac Blanc is a backcountry mountain refuge at 2,352 m near Chamonix, set in the Aiguilles Rouges natural reserve. It’s used for hut stays and also for evening meals (including dinner), with food prepared on-site and served with reservations required for dining.
The refuge offers half-board, with meals that include lunch and dinner (breakfast is also listed). It sleeps up to 40 people. Reservations are required, and animals are not accepted; bivouac is not permitted around the refuge, while it may be possible at Lac de Chésery.
Seasonal opening is listed for 2026 from 5 June to 1 November. Shower and toilets are available, and you can recharge phones and devices at the refuge; internet access is not provided.
