Refuge du Parmelan / Camille Dunant

Refuge du Parmelan / Camille Dunant is a Club Alpin Français backcountry hut on the Parmelan above Dingy-Saint-Clair (Haute-Savoie), at 1,825 m. It has 45 sleeping places during the staffed season and a phone contact for the wardens.

The refuge is guarded from mid-May to early October, with the option to reserve for stays with the wardens. When not in season it also operates a separate winter refuge building; winter use is more basic, with no possibility to heat the refuge or cook. The hut takes a range of payments, and the wardens can be reached directly by phone during their guarding period.
