Refuge du Pavé

Refuge du Pavé is a Club Alpin Français backcountry hut in the Ecrins massif, at 2,841 m, sitting at the foot of the Pavé and Pic Gaspard by Lac du Pavé. It’s used as a base for high-mountain routes in the surrounding cirque and for both hiking access and alpinism objectives.

The hut sleeps 30 people. The managed period runs in two blocks: mid-March to early May in winter, and mid-June to mid-September in summer. Online reservations are available via the booking section of the hut’s official site.
