Refuge du Pigeonnier

Refuge du Pigeonnier is a Club Alpin Français backcountry refuge in the Ecrins area (2423 m). It’s managed by gardiennage during limited periods: the refuge is kept on weekends of late May and late September, and then continuously from 6 June to 13 September 2026. The refuge has 52 sleeping places; outside gardiennage it lists 20 places across 2 dormitories. Bedding is not supplied for your own sleep system—bring your sleeping sheet (drap de couchage).
