Refuge forestier de Font Rouge

Refuge forestier de Font Rouge is a small, unstaffed forest shelter at 1,420 m with a large fireplace and simple seating. Inside there are 2 tables, 3 benches, and 7 chairs, but no dedicated sleeping positions; the floor is the only place to sleep.

It’s set up for passersby rather than organized lodging: no beds are provided, and sleeping is possible for roughly 4–5 people on the concrete floor if you bring thick sleeping pads. There’s a chimney and dry firewood is available in and around the shelter, but you should plan on carrying your own sleeping gear; there’s no stove, and no cooking is provided.
