Refuge Ski Club Sainte Marie aux Mines

Refuge Ski Club Sainte Marie aux Mines is the ski club’s backcountry refuge on the GR5 between the Col des Bagenelles and the Brezouard, near the pre du Haicot. It’s run by Ski Club Ste Marie aux Mines and is intended for backcountry stays, with the hut available for rental in free management.

The refuge is set up for overnight use with a capacity of 17 sleeping places. After safety works, the chalet can be occupied again, and the club indicates that the refuge can be rented only in free management; for rental requests, send a message to the club’s contact email listed on the refuge page. The hut’s setting is also used in winter: nearby are groomed cross-country ski tracks that pass close by, alongside snowshoe routes.
