Ryan's Spur Hut

Ryan's Spur Hut is a small backcountry hut on the Ryan's Spur Track area in Victoria (between Mt Terrible and Woods Point). It’s a single-room timber hut with bunks at one end, plus a sink and bench at the other. The outside is vertical timber planking, and some floorboards may need replacement; there’s no caretaker on site.

Use is free and there are no reservations or fees. Expect self-sufficiency: bring your own sleeping gear, food, water, and cooking equipment, and take all rubbish with you for the next party. Access is remote and typically needs high-clearance 4WD, with the hut just off the Ryan’s Spur Track.
