Shilly Shally

Shilly Shally is a rustic day-use shelter in Gatineau Park with a wood-burning stove and clothing/equipment racks. It’s intended as a warm-up stop for winter cross-country skiers, and in summer it’s accessible on foot and by bike.

It sits on Trail 1 near Fortune Lake Parkway and is the smallest shelter in the Park. The shelter does not have an emergency communication system, and overnight stays aren’t permitted at day shelters. For winter use, bring matches (to start the stove if needed) and be ready for limited stove performance for cooking or reheating meals.
