Tagert Hut

Tagert Hut is a backcountry wilderness hut operated through the 10th Mountain Division Hut Association as part of the Alfred A. Braun Hut System. It’s a small hut (capacity 7) at about 11,280 feet, with mattresses provided and a fireplace available; reservations are required. Fees apply for use, and there’s no shower service.

Use is fee-based and reservation-based, so plan ahead via the operator’s online booking process. The hut site is part of the Green Wilson & Tagert Huts cluster on the operator’s hut list.
