Toue de Cétira

Toue de Cétira is an unstaffed stone backcountry shelter in the French Pyrenees at about 1,590 m. It was renovated in 2017 after an earlier rock-shelter structure was destroyed by an avalanche, with new dry-stone walls, a two-leaf door, and a stone floor.

Use is free and first-come, first-served (no booking). It’s intended as basic shelter with no fireplace or stove; plan to bring what you need to sleep and cook on your own, and carry your own waste out. The shelter is within the Pyrenees National Park core zone.

Access is from the GR10 or the D103 to the Lac d’Estaing, then follow a marked foot route along the Gave de Labat de Bun to reach the hut area.
