Mycket skräp vid papperskorgar som troligen inte töms. Mycket växter ner mot ån gör det äventyrligt att ta vatten. Mindre lämpligt för tex kanot. Gallret på grillplatsen funkar ej.

En gammal tvättmaskinstrumma(?) fungerar utmärkt som flyttbar grill. Ingen toalett. Nås via 1km stig söderifrån endast till fots. Det finns ett fågeltorn bredvid. Tältning möjligt ca 80 meter söder om skyddet, mellan ett gäng tallstammar.

In our farmshop you can get our own bison sausages and hamburgers for the evening BBQ. Our Bison Camp is located between our two large bison enclosures. They then take the basket with them to the Bison camp, light the fire or grill and cook the food themselves. It is possible to eat the food outside with the sky as a roof or if weather protection is desired, it is fine to sit in our larger tentipit tent where we have tables and benches set up. - Price hamburger: 150 sek/pc Contains: 1 bison burger approx. 180 g, hamburger bun, cheese, salad, BBQ sauce, roasted onions, ketchup and mustard. - Price sausage: 100 sek/pc Contains: 1 bison sausage, roasted onion, sausage roll, ketchup and mustard. Open durign summer 11:00-16:00 28 juni to 17 August Discount code: TET2025 = 20% Borgvattnets Prästgård och Historik: Den hemsökta prästgården i Borgvattnet (Borgvattnets Prästgård) Borgvattnet är en liten by i Jämtland, belägen cirka 100 kilometer nordost om Östersund. I byn hittar du den gamla prästgården, som blivit känd som Sveriges mest spökhus på grund av en lång rad mystiska och skrämmande händelser. 1876 stod prästgården färdig och den förste prästen, Per Johan Strindberg, flyttade in med sin familj. Efter Strindberg har många präster avlöst varandra, men det var först 1927 som den första märkliga händelsen inträffade. Då vittnade prästen Nils Hedlund om hur hans tvätt plötsligt rycktes från klädstrecket på vinden. Många tror att det kan ha varit Nils avlidna mor, Märta, som orsakat den mystiska aktiviteten. Märta dog tragiskt vid 30 års ålder efter att ha fött barn i prästgården. Eftersom marken var för frusen för att gräva en grav, förvarades hennes kropp en tid i Gula rummet. Det sägs också att Nils far, Per Hedlund, inte kunde släppa sin älskade hustru och behöll hennes kropp i huset långt efter hennes död. 1930 berättade prästen Rudolf Tängdén om en skrämmande upplevelse han haft på prästgården. Han såg en grå kvinnofigur i matsalen på nedervåningen, en figur han senare kallade "den grå damen". Åren gick och 1936 rapporterade även prästen Otto Lindgren om steg och dörrar som öppnades på gården – trots att han var där ensam. Spöken fortsatte och blev mer skrämmande för varje år. Trots dessa händelser valde både prästerna och Svenska kyrkan att tiga och förneka alla rykten om spöken. Tystnaden bröts 1947 när en journalist på Östersunds länstidning fick nys om hemligheterna. Journalisten kontaktade prästen Erik Lindgren, som då var präst i Borgvattnet. Han tackade ja till en intervju och berättade om sina egna upplevelser på prästgården. Det var sensationellt att en präst skulle tala öppet om spöken – speciellt eftersom ordet "spöken" inte var vanligt på den tiden, då man istället talade om själar och andar. Erik Lindgren berättade hur han hörde ljud som lät som att någon drar tunga föremål över golvet, trots att han inte hade några möbler i sitt hem och övervåningen var tom. Strax därefter hörde han steg och stamp på bron utanför gården, men när han gick för att öppna dörren var det helt tomt utanför. Han kände sig ofta bevakad och kände att någon satt bredvid honom. Han började noggrant dokumentera alla märkliga händelser på gården. En gång, när han satt och läste en bok, ryckte något plötsligt till i hans gungstol, vilket gjorde att han kastades framåt och föll till golvet. Han satte sig i stolen igen, men samma kraft upprepades och han föll till golvet igen. Så småningom blev spökena så vanliga att Erik inte längre skrev ner alla händelser. Biskop Torsten Bohlin bekräftade senare prästens uppgifter. Efter flera års erfarenheter beställdes en vetenskaplig undersökning av prästgården, vilket bidrog till att huset fick sitt rykte som "Sveriges mest hemsökta hus". Nyheten om Erik Lindgrens erfarenheter spreds snabbt och Spökprästgården väckte stor uppmärksamhet både i Sverige och internationellt. Flera präster och gäster som varit på gården började nu berätta om sina egna upplevelser. Tidningar publicerade vittnesmål om fotsteg, osynliga figurer och konstiga lampor som tänds och släcktes av sig själva. Bland annat berättade stiftssekreteraren Inga Flodin om en händelse i lokalen som i dag heter Gråterskornas Rum. Under en affärsresa vaknade Inga mitt i natten och kände sig bevakad. Hon såg tre gestalter sitta och stirra på henne från en soffa mitt emot sängen. När hon tände ljuset stod de kvar och hon såg att det var tre ledsna damer klädda i svart, lila och grått. Den gråklädda kvinnan såg djupt ledsen ut, med svullna, rödkantade ögon. Det var samma figur som prästen Rudolf Tängdén hade sett flera år tidigare, men på nedervåningen. Gungstolen som Erik Lindgren använde blev senare rikskänd genom SVT:s populära program Hylands Hörna, där kända personer som Sickan Karlsson och Simon Brehm provade stolen. Senare köpte Povel Ramel gungstolen, men 1981 köptes den tillbaka till Borgvattnet av köpmannen Erik Brännholm, som ägt prästgården sedan 1970 och menade att stolen hörde dit. Brännholm gjorde om prästgården till hotell och införde diplom för de som vågade övernatta. Första sommaren, när prästgården öppnades för allmänheten, besöktes den av 5 000 personer. I över 50 år har Borgvattnets Prästgård varit en välkänd attraktion i Jämtland som lockar både svenska och utländska besökare. Än idag kan du boka ett rum eller hela huset för en övernattning och få diplom – om du vågar. Prästgården erbjuder också möjlighet att gå på guidade turer, daginträdesbesök och delta i minievenemang och digitala spökjakter. Här finns också ett populärt sommarcafé där den populära spökvåfflan serveras, en liten butik med souvenirer och hantverk samt loppmarknad på gården. We used it last week and it was a very positive experience. I am attaching pictures that often say more than words. The rooms were large with facilities suitable for gravel drivers. Own small kitchen with fridge, seating area, lovely bathtub and nice common areas for socializing with others. The breakfast was also plentiful and tasty. We missed the opportunity to buy dinner and drinks on site, but it was walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The fin mines were put into use in the 1690s and were mined on a large scale throughout the 18th century. When the ore deposits began to run out in the middle of the 19th century, the business was shut down. The deepest mine hole is the Krongruvan, which is 54 meters deep. Here there are remains of a 1,780-metre-long bar passage, built in 1744, and a water break. Finngruvan was discovered in 1695 by Lisa Ersdotter. After her discovery of the Finngruvan, Lisa Ersdotter requested and received a finder's fee from King Karl XII. As a thank you, she received a silver bowl filled with silver coins. The bowl was donated in 1747 to Ljusnarsberg's church and has an inscription: "Of King Nåd is this Bowl hidden 60 dahl:r Silf:r M:t Åhr 1699 gifted Wife Elisabet Erichsdotter for Finngruwan's invention wijd Ljusnarsberg." Now you can see huge piles of warp (useless ore) and water-filled open pits. The water in the open pits has a green color due to copper precipitation. In several of the fractures, you can see the smooth sides of the rock walls which show that the quarrying took place without using gunpowder. The quarrying has taken place through so-called preparation, when the rock was heated up with fire so that cracks were formed which facilitated the quarrying of the rock. 50 meters north of the Finngruvorna is the Fallgruvorna, which is first mentioned in 1725. The mines were put into use around the same time as the Finngruvorna. In 1747, an arm was built from the bar passage at Finngruvorna to Fallgruvorna. The mining was stopped in 1773 and already in 1794 the mines had been filled with water for several years.

The Inclined Plane In the 19th century, the biggest obstacle to the flourishing mining industry was above all the poor transport system. When Yngs-Daglöse railway AB was formed in 1851, the plan was to build a horse railway between the lakes Yngen and Daglösen. Just outside the center of Filipstad, Abborrberget was in the way of the plans, it was of course possible to build around the mountain, but that would also mean that the project became significantly more expensive. The solution was to construct an inclined plane, one of the oldest simple machines for saving power, where downward carriages would pull up the upward ones. The seven kilometer track was completed in 1853 after a work effort of 300 men. The carts were pulled to the foot of the mountain by horses and then hooked to a steel cable that went around a disc. Ore came down the mountain from Högbergsfältet and supplies went up to the mine. When the tilting plane was in use, about 120 tons per day could be transported in this way. The Yngs-Daglöse railway was part of a system that could only be used as long as the lakes were ice-free, so when the iron works began to demand ore all year round, they had to rethink and invest in a railway between Kristinehamn and Persberg. The carriages on the inclined plane stopped running around 1873 and today there are no traces of the operation. But the mountain and hill are of course still there and offer a different industrial history excursion.

In 1889, a railway was built between Tyfors and Neva. The track width was 802 mm. In the first years, the carriages were pulled by horses. In 1910, the gang Tyfors Annefors was added. The stretch Neva-Annefors then belonged to SVJ, Säfsnäsverken railway. In 1964, the last train ran on the Fredriksberg-Neva line.

Strassa mine Iron ore mining in Stråssa has very old origins: mining is documented from the 15th century. For a long time, miners took care of the operation. Among them was the famous "Mine Mother" Maria Olsdotter, called Sweden's first female mining bailiff. However, the ownership changed after the mining privileges ended in 1874, and Stråssa Grufvebolag was formed. This company was transformed into a joint-stock company in 1906. Already the following year, the mining field was bought by Metallurgiska AB. A leading profile in this company, which due to its highly speculative (and probably also dubious) business was later named Metallurgical Härvan, was the wholesaler William Olsson. During the time of the Metallurgical Härvan, the still-preserved mine cabin and a large workshop building were built. After this failed, Stråssa came into the possession of an Austrian company between 1913 and 1917. In 1914, this company received a concession on a seven kilometer long railway between Stråssa and Storå, which was opened for traffic on July 31 of the following year. For many years, the traffic was managed by TGOJ. Grängesbergsbolaget, or Trafik AB Grängesberg-Oxelösund as the company was actually called, became the owner of the mine in 1917. As early as 1923, however, operations were shut down due to a declining economy and technical difficulties.

The scenario facility at Stråssa mine consists of a large number of old industrial buildings and service buildings where the mining office (>6000 sq m) and the ball sinter plant (>15,000 sq m) stand out as the largest. In the area, we also own over 4 ha of land, where the track is built and the service parts are located. Additional land is leased and used at the larger events. In the facility you will find a lot of exciting things. For example. virus labs, morgues, office landscapes, machine rooms, power stations, warehouses, residential quarters, trenches, bunkers and much, much more. For the larger houses, we currently have about 95 40-foot containers and concrete houses, many with several floors. The facility is developed to be able to arrange battle scenes from smaller groups in scenario games to large-scale big games with hundreds of participants. The facility is particularly well suited to Apocalyptic Lives. Construction is ongoing all the time in Stråssa and is therefore increasing both in size and service level. TV series such as Dystopia and Hide and seek have been recorded here and of course a lot of music videos. In the service house (mining office) there is also our "Zombie track", a horror facility where e.g. The Zombie Escape and Alone Survivor events are carried out. The course is structured around different themes such as high-risk labs, morgues and much more. The horror facility has built-in effects similar to those in haunted houses but much more advanced.

Strassa mine Iron ore mining in Stråssa has very old origins: mining is documented from the 15th century. For a long time, miners took care of the operation. Among them was the famous "Mine Mother" Maria Olsdotter, called Sweden's first female mining bailiff. However, the ownership changed after the mining privileges ended in 1874, and Stråssa Grufvebolag was formed. This company was transformed into a joint-stock company in 1906. Already the following year, the mining field was bought by Metallurgiska AB. A leading profile in this company, which due to its highly speculative (and probably also dubious) business was later named Metallurgical Härvan, was the wholesaler William Olsson. During the time of the Metallurgical Härvan, the still-preserved mine cabin and a large workshop building were built. After this failed, Stråssa came into the possession of an Austrian company between 1913 and 1917. In 1914, this company received a concession on a seven kilometer long railway between Stråssa and Storå, which was opened for traffic on July 31 of the following year. For many years, the traffic was managed by TGOJ. Grängesbergsbolaget, or Trafik AB Grängesberg-Oxelösund as the company was actually called, became the owner of the mine in 1917. As early as 1923, however, operations were shut down due to a declining economy and technical difficulties.

When war broke out in 1939, Sweden needed to increase its stocks of ammunition at a faster rate than Bofors could produce, and it became necessary to set up a war production. The village of Tyfors was chosen because of its strategic location deep in the Dalarna forests, but despite its isolated location it had good communications out into the country. The facility that was blasted out of the ancient rock was called Tyfors 2 and consisted of several large rock rooms, called ships, connected by smaller tunnels and exits. Around 70 people worked inside the mountain, but the workforce could be doubled if needed with a manufacturing capacity that could reach 18,500 kilos per week. Since the end of the war, the facility has been left to its fate and is now slowly being eaten away by the moisture. Many machines have been dismantled for a long time, but quite a few still remain, left behind deep in the rock. Whether it's actually an attraction is questionable, but it's definitely an odd outing. The stagnant air is heavy with mold spores and the puddles on the floor aren't necessarily water, but that hasn't stopped countless adventurous visitors from exploring the maze-like facility over the years. Even SVT has been there on one occasion to record an episode of the TV series Hemliga rum.

The village of Tyfors was chosen because of its strategic location deep in the Dalarna forests, but despite its isolated location it had good communications out into the country. The facility was built in collaboration with Hellefors mill, which could supply the factory with labor, and consisted of two separate factories: one above ground and one embedded in the original rock. Various paper mills delivered paper pulp to the underground part of the factory via the railway with unloading at Tyfors station. There it was refined into nitrocellulose, cotton gunpowder, which was then transported down in a wet state to Tyfors 1 for further processing into low-smoke gunpowder. In the dry state, cotton gunpowder is extremely volatile, so to minimize the risk of accidents, the gunpowder factory was built as fifteen separate units. During the years 1940 to 1945, around 100 to 200 people worked in the factory at a daily wage of approximately 10 kroner. It was primarily women who worked here in Tyfors 1, and it was dirty work with primitive manufacturing methods. Once finished, the gunpowder was packed in cartridges and sent on to ammunition factories to become a propellant charge in, among other things, the Bofors anti-aircraft gun m/40. When the war ended, production also ceased, although the plant remained for reserve production until 1973. When the agreement with Hellefors mill ended in 1981, the area was supposed to be restored, but instead it was left to its fate.

The scenario facility at Stråssa mine consists of a large number of old industrial buildings and service buildings where the mining office (>6000 sq m) and the ball sinter plant (>15,000 sq m) stand out as the largest. In the area, we also own over 4 ha of land, where the track is built and the service parts are located. Additional land is leased and used at the larger events. In the facility you will find a lot of exciting things. For example. virus labs, morgues, office landscapes, machine rooms, power stations, warehouses, residential quarters, trenches, bunkers and much, much more. For the larger houses, we currently have about 95 40-foot containers and concrete houses, many with several floors. The facility is developed to be able to arrange battle scenes from smaller groups in scenario games to large-scale big games with hundreds of participants. The facility is particularly well suited to Apocalyptic Lives. Construction is ongoing all the time in Stråssa and is therefore increasing both in size and service level. TV series such as Dystopia and Hide and seek have been recorded here and of course a lot of music videos. In the service house (mining office) there is also our "Zombie track", a horror facility where e.g. The Zombie Escape and Alone Survivor events are carried out. The course is structured around different themes such as high-risk labs, morgues and much more. The horror facility has built-in effects similar to those in haunted houses but much more advanced.
