Alexis

Loading map…

Alexis is a compact crag in Squamish’s Smoke Bluffs, with two recorded routes. The approach takes less than five minutes from the end of Burger and Fries Wall at Libya Sucks: follow the stairs and path toward the hydro tower above the cliff.

The short wall offers both trad and sport climbing. Alexis Cracks is a 9 m trad line graded 5.7, with two prominent cracks and a possible diagonal third line; bolted anchors serve the two main cracks. White Streak is a 9 m sport route graded 5.10c, protected by three bolts with a high first bolt and a thin opening that may be difficult to protect.

Alexis is close to homes, and a hydro tower stands above the cliff. Use the Loggers Lane parking lot rather than residential streets, keep noise low, control dogs, and avoid occupying popular climbs when others are waiting. Some Smoke Bluffs cliffs are on private land or near private residences, so stay within the established climbing areas.
