Antarès

Antarès is a rustic backcountry hut operated by Sépaq in the Observatory sector of Parc national du Mont-Mégantic. It functions as a basecamp for hiking and stargazing in the International Dark Sky Reserve area, and it sits about 2 km from the Discovery and Service Centre with an altitude around 680 m.

Reservations for Antarès are handled through Sépaq’s reservation network. Because the hut is inside a protected dark-sky reserve, low-intensity amber lighting is required at night.
