Alpine hut

Deneb is a rustic backcountry hut in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic (Franceville sector) operated by Sépaq. It’s part of the park’s multi-day wilderness hiking circuit, with use tied to booking through the Sépaq Reservation System, by phone.

The hut is equipped with beds/mattresses, a table, chairs, and a stove; bring your own sleeping bag and cooking gear. There’s no direct access to running drinking water, so plan on carrying water or using filtration.

Depending on season, access is via hiking trails or winter backcountry ski/snowshoe routes. If staying during winter months, baggage transport may be available through Sépaq’s winter baggage-drop service (call in advance; maximum 45 lbs / ~20.4 kg per bag).
