La Sarracénie is a rustic shelter/camp cabin at Jouvence in Orford, Quebec, set in a natural area near Parc national du Mont-Orford. The refuge is reached on foot (about 30 minutes from Jouvence’s accueil), or by ski de fond or raquette depending on season.

Use is intentionally low-tech: there’s no electricity or Wi‑Fi service, but potable water, wood for the wood stove/fireplace area, mattresses, and cooking equipment are provided. The main area includes a wood stove and beds in a mezzanine configuration for up to 8 people in any season.

The stay at La Sarracénie is not part of Jouvence’s all-inclusive packages; booking includes the provided matelas, wood heating, water, and cooking equipment, but meals are not included—bring your food. Reserve in advance through the Jouvence booking flow for the refuge, and plan for the site to be a daytime passage area for hikers and cross-country skiers.
