Bendoran Hut

Bendoran Hut is a private farm and musterers’ hut near Mount Misery in New Zealand’s Otago region, used for backcountry overnights in the Silverpeaks/Otago area. Use is permission-based: you need to secure approval in advance from the landowner before visiting or staying.

The hut sleeps 4 (4 bunks) and is set up for basic winter comfort with heating. Water comes from a roof-fed tank, and the hut has an open fire (with an additional closed fire/wood stove/gas stove arrangement described in local hut info).
