Boundary Creek Hut

Boundary Creek Hut is a DOC backcountry hut in Oteake Conservation Park (Central Otago). It has 8 bunk beds and is standard booking—no reservation needed—first come, first served. Expect an advanced approach taking about 3 hours from the access route used for hut planning.

Sleeping is set up with mattresses, and the hut has toilets (pit latrine) and a fireplace, but no drinking water is supplied. Fees apply via a hut ticket process: you buy a Standard Hut Ticket for each night and place it in the honesty box at the hut (or use a Backcountry Hut Pass). Heating is provided, but no fuel is supplied.
