Buster Hut

Buster Hut is a basic backcountry hut in Oteake Conservation Park, in the Central Otago area, run by the Department of Conservation. The hut sleeps 2 and is first come, first served (no bookings required). It doesn’t provide mattresses, so bring your own bedding if you plan to stay overnight.

Use is free. There’s no fireplace, and the hut has no drinking water or toilets provided, so plan to arrive self-sufficient and with enough water and waste solution for your stay.
