Cabana de Pòrt d'Urets

Cabana de Pòrt d'Urets is a small, unstaffed high-mountain refuge at 2,512 m on the French–Spanish border near the Maubermé (Pic de Maubermé area). The hut is a round wooden structure roofed with stone (lauze-style), and it includes a central stove—bring wood for heat because there’s no wood supply guaranteed inside.

It sleeps 3 (with two main sleeping spots on the lower benches plus additional floor room for extra sleepers). It’s a “cabane non gardée” style shelter: use is free and you typically rely on what’s already inside when you arrive—plan to bring your sleeping system and a way to manage water, since water must be gathered outside.
