Cabane Artigou - castillonais

Cabane Artigou - castillonais is an unstaffed mountain refuge in the French Pyrenees (in the Castillon-en-Couserans area). It’s an open cabane used for overnight stopovers on foot, with sleeping platforms (bat-flancs) for up to 3 people in both summer and winter.

Inside, you’ll find a fireplace/wood for basic heating and cooking, plus benches and a simple interior setup. Use is first-come, first-served—show up and share the space, with no reservation process or overnight cost. Water is not available on-site, so plan to carry what you need or source it on your approach.
