Cabane Col de La Terme

Cabane Col de La Terme is a non-guarded backcountry shelter in the French Pyrenees (Ariège) used for emergency nights on local trail routes. The hut is in very good condition and includes a fireplace, a large table, and two bunk beds with mattresses for up to 2 people (2 bed platforms). There is no wood kept nearby.

A reliable water source is just off the slope opposite the hut: a spring is marked for potable water with a small capture pipe. Use is first-come, first-served (no reservation system). In summer it can be occupied by the shepherd during grazing, so plan for possible crowding and bring a backup plan if you need sleeping space.
