Cabane d'Ardinet

Cabane d'Ardinet (1570 m) is a non-staffed mountain shelter on the GR10 in the Vallée d’Aspe, used both by hikers and (in summer) shepherds. It sleeps up to about 4 people, with a reserved shepherd area during the summer season and a separate space for walkers.

Inside, expect very basic, rustic furnishings: three rough wooden benches downstairs, and a small mezzanine reached by a ladder that provides the main sleeping space (4–5 places on a clean wooden floor, depending on how you arrange it). There’s no fireplace or stove; water is available outside via a nearby capture from a lower torrent/spring, so filter or treat it before drinking.
