Cabane de Bergout

Cabane de Bergout is a non-staffed stone shelter above the village of Bedous in the Vallée d'Aspe (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). it is a cabane fermée for winter, while summer use is oriented to local shelter needs (including shepherd occupation).

Use is free and there’s no reservation or booking process—plan for first-come, first-served use. A fireplace and wood are associated with the shelter, but expect you may need to handle your own firewood from what’s available and replace what you use before leaving.
