Cabane de Besse
Cabane de Besse is a small backcountry hut in the Pyrénées (around 1570 m). It’s a non-staffed shelter with limited overnight use and priority for shepherds, with sleeping space for 4 people on mattresses inside a tight, lockable-style cabin.
Inside, you’ll find room for 3–4 (up to 4) sleepers, plus a table and benches. There is a fireplace/cheminée available; wood can be found nearby (not immediately by the door), and a water source is roughly 25 m downhill on the path. A high and a low door help access when there’s significant snow.
