Cabane de Béze - ax les thermes

Cabane de Béze - ax les thermes is a small Pyrenean backcountry shelter used for overnight stays on high ground near Aston in the Ariège. It’s an unstaffed, first-come first-served communal refuge, sized for about 2 to 3 people at a time, with sleeping on 2 beds and a fireplace.

For planning: bring your own dry firewood if you want to use the fireplace, and be ready for winter access issues—snow often blocks the entrance in winter. The shelter is lacking nearby wood, so don’t rely on collecting fuel on-site.
