Alpine hut

Cabane de Cézy (also known as Cabane des spéléologues) is a small stone backcountry hut above Gabas, slightly off the GR10. It’s an unmanned refuge intended for emergencies or bad weather, with a separate sleeping room containing wooden sleeping platforms (bas-flancs).

The hut sleeps 6 and is basic: a fireplace is provided, but there’s no stove. Water is available from a nearby pipe, and the hut is reachable via the GR10 section between Gabas and Gourette; use remains first-come, first-served (no booking).
