Cabane de Couscouilha

Cabane de Couscouilha is an unstaffed backcountry cabin at 1370 m with sleeping space for 8. It has an open interior with a living area upstairs and an open fireplace that won’t heat much; the cooking kit is basic (no stove). The lower level includes wood storage and repair materials, and the cabin has a grilled setup used for BBQ along with a few small kitchen items.

The sleeping platform is an elevated estrade at the back designed for 8; there are some floor imperfections (the planking can be unreliable in places). Water is available within 100 m, and there are no latrines or a poêle. Use is first-come, first-served with no reservation process; bring everything you need and pack out all trash—expect to share the space if others arrive.
